First Contract for New Business Established by Former ISG Head
22/1/25
A new fit-out business, established by the former head of ISG's Agility division, has secured its first contract.
Max Steward, who spent over 12 years at ISG across two separate periods, bookending three years at BW, launched Archer in late 2024. He co-founded the firm with Chris Pratt, a former BW colleague, with a focus on delivering Cat A and B fit-out projects for landlords and occupiers through both traditional and hybrid Detail & Build procurement approaches.
ISG Agility, the now-defunct contractor's fit-out division, specialised in projects under 50,000sqft.
Archer has reportedly now secured a £5 million Cat B fit-out contract for an insurance company in Bishopsgate, London, with work set to commence in the spring and conclude by summer.
At its inception, Archer announced plans to concentrate on projects in London and Cambridge, with an initial turnover target of £10 million in its first year.
