Ardmore clinches £154m flats job in London

25/8/23

London's Hackney Council has appointed Ardmore to deliver the final phase of its Britannia residential-led regeneration scheme next to Shoreditch Park.

The £154m design and build contract will see Ardmore deliver 371 mixed-tenure units within four residential buildings of up to 25 storeys.

The scheme will include 81 affordable homes available for social rent and shared ownership, with 290 private for sale homes.

The appointment builds on Ardmore's extensive experience of delivering major residential-led regeneration projects, including 1,000-unit multi-phase Parkside scheme in Lewisham and the 387- unit Phase 4a of Battersea Power Station.

James Byrne, Ardmore director said: "I am pleased that Hackney has shown such confidence in us to deliver one of their most prestigious schemes.

"Over the last few months, we're already managed to build a strong working relationship with Hackney and their design team to help bring the buildings in line with the highest safety standards, without any compromise in quality."
