18/8/23

Controversial plans to redevelop a former brewery site on the Thames to provide 667 homes have been approved by London's Richmond council.

The £1bn revised scheme, which was previously rejected by the London Major.

The latest plan also includes a 1,200-pupil secondary school, full-size community football pitch, cinema, hotel and a lively high street with shops, bars and restaurants to serve both new and existing local residents.

The 22-acre historic former Stag Brewery site on the south bank of the Thames at Mortlake is being brought forward by development manager Dartmouth Capital Partners.
